recently my compaq laptop underwent keybd and motherbd change.thereafter after abt 3 months of use the laptop desktop cant be accessed as it was asking for window key activation-i didi it after using the micosoft telephone option.but again 2 day the same problem-now i am getting option of either use lap with reduced funnctiianility or contact hp or type a different product key( i tried typing the original key in this different product key but it doesnt work).please help. i am fed up and am, thinhking of throwing away vista and loading win xp-can someone suggets to me whether what is the cost of an original win xp
