My old trusted cell 6610i has its display gone kaput after Tuesday's visarjan..:(

Actually had d cell in pocket bu during visarjan it rained n i forgot tat i had cell in my pocket(but was in plastic).:oops:.so after returning home,I realised d blunder...:(
Now it has no display(slight ray of light appears) but keypad lights r fine n working.Only d display is not proper but cell is still i nworking condition ie. I can make calls(provided I no d no.),recieve calls n get to know tat iam recieving msgs(thanx 2 vibration:p) but cant see..:(

So wat do I do...:confused:

btwn the cell aint under warranty so wud i be charged..??
its abt 1.5yrs old..:)

And can I transfer My msgs n contacts onto my PC using PCSUITE before goin to service centre where I guess all this wud be lost...:(

Even if you had the warranty u had not got it,coz nokia doesn't cover liquid damage in their warranty.
You will be charged.:(

You can try to backup the contacts.I am not sure whether it will work.

how much wud it turn out to be(approx)..:confused:
coz if its high then i wud just go in for a new cell..:)

Iam hopin that i can backup the contacts coz i have d contacts in the phone only...:mad:

And I checked into Nokia India Website to check 6610i compatiblity with Nokia PCsuite n found out this..:D

But for connectivity i got only two options Infrared and using Nokia Connectivity Adapter Cable CA-42,which I guess is different from the normal Nokia Connectivity Cable CA-53 rgt...:sad:
