Dear friends, I have a strange problem! I am not able to play high def video in my windows 7 system, though low resolution video are fine. I already used KMplayer, VLC and media player with K lite codec. but all in vain.
whenever i am trying to play a high resolution video file video and audio mismatch...that is audio is going as usual but video moves some seconds later.
please suggest what should i do.
I have 1.8Ghz Athlon Processor, 1Gb ram, MSI motherboard and Via graphics driver installed.

change is constant!!
probably some codec conflict might have occurred.. uninstall all the media players ,restart, and then install any one player, either vlc or klite. and then try.?

have u ever tried playing HD videos successfully on same config..? if yes then its codec problem.

else u r system or monitor is too old and not compatible to play HD content. (some old CRT monitors with less resolution), might be the problem. :-|

Dear sumangh01,
720P or 1080p Try to play the vedio in windows media 12, Get a graphics card which can handle these resoulations and a monitor capable of playing HD vedios.

thanks khmadhu and bijesh123! i tried all the possibilities. first i uninstalled all media player and codec from my system. then reinstall vlc player. now what happens video & audio is playing ok but video gets hazy.. i dont know what the wrong with the system. when i play this files in Windows xp everything is allright... i m using viewsonic lcd monitor which i bought 3 yrs ago. it supports 1280 x 1024 resolution.
windows media 12 has the same problem.. audio goes first then video moves!

well if its working in XP then it should work in win 7 also..

may be becoz win 7 takes lot of memory compared to XP and u r having only 1 GB!
thats min config for win 7, try adding 1 GB more.. or shift back to XP :-|

did u try playing both 720p and 1080p HD video..? is this problem exists for both..?

Must be a problem with your onboard grahics. It may not support HD videos.
Yeah some times back i thought it was the problem but if it is problem of onboard graphics then why there is no problem when i play that file in Windows XP.

Right off the assembly line
