Right off the assembly line
My Mother board : Intel Desktop Board D845GVSR.
Processor : Pentium 4 2.66 Ghz,512 MB RAM.

When i go in to the bios there i find a setting that i can change my video card memory..There i can keep maximum to 256 MB,but whatever i keep there its not getting any effect, after booting and loggin in when i check the video card memory it shows only 64 MB.

What shall i do..anyone pls tell me..

maybe your not saving and exiting, or maybe you may need to enable advanced preferences of bios by pressing one of the f keys

The onboard memory of 845 is capped at 64MB of sharing.Regardless of any amount that you fiddle around with the BIOS settings it won't budge.Forget increasing the onboard memory and switch to a Graphic card in case you need a performance boost.
