There's an utility called NFR (google). Use it and then restart, then reinstall the drivers. Else, you may want to search, or ask your question, here:[ link ]

How do you expect people to reply when you haven't given even the basic info like windows version - XP/2k/2k3 or the nvidia chipset card you have installed on your system?

Anyway, this is definitely a driver problem so download and install different versions until you find one that works. It's important that you properly uninstall the old driver before installing the new one. Good Luck!

hey guys ,,opened the cabinet .kept it open and then installed the drivers and finally the drivers got installed wihout any problem and then worked on it as usual .So was the problem with the overheating. Can anyone pinpoint the exact problem and its solution.

It seems to me , a problem with over-heating of the CPU. Check if the fans in the cabinet are working properly. Also check the CPU temperature. You can also
install a software that monitors the PC's temperature.
Make sure the cabinet is not cluttered and make it a little
airy inside. Apply a thermal paste on the CPU to avoid
over-heating of the CPU. Also try running the Game at a lower resolution.

What Cpu getting heated so quickly? and in winters?
I have fx 5200 256 mb graphics card but didnt show symptoms of overheating even in summers.
Anyway install a rear fan!

its unusual either there is problem with heatsink or processor or gpu fans or its the cabinet with improper ventilation. Also do check that u have authentic power supply.

hey i have faced a problem like this many times!
i am not sure but its u r graphics card problem!
Disable overclocking!
first of all uninstall any grapic drivers u have in safe mode and then reboot.
get the latest drivers from here
*www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp
get in safe mode and install the drivers !
THERE MUST NOT BE ANY KIND OF ANTI-X TOOL RUNNING!
After installation let the PC reboot!
Then boot in safe mode!

And in case u are having overheating problems get another fan!
or contact u r technician!
Or use tools like fanspeed or Motherboard monitor!
Hope this solves u r problem!
