Main drawback of a laptop according to me is lack of 5.1 audio support. 
Please suggest a decent USB speakers which can work with both macbook pro and windows laptop.

On which type of speakers will the sound be good? USB model or normal 3.5 jack model?
I think for the same price of USB speakers we will get 2.1 speakers of 3.5 jack model right?
Is there anyway I can use my existing 5.1 speakers with my new asus laptop?
It has 1 audio in and 1 audio out only
