Urgently Need Dual Sim Android Phone in Rs.18000/-

One of my friend's friend needs a good dual sim Android fone within 17000-18000 rupees.

Following are his requirements
1. Budget?
17k to 18k

2. Display type and size?
Large 5 inch + display

3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip?

4. Preferred choice of brand?
He cannot see beyond Samsung But may accept Sony, HTC & other biggies

5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type).

6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera.
Any MP but with Led Flash

7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).

8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly.

He was keen on GALAXY GRAND QUATTRO but postoning his decision till tomorrow

please do not suggest sony L or m dual. large display & dual sim is must for him along with large capacity battery


He was keen on GALAXY GRAND QUATTRO but I convinced him to hold on his purchase till tomorrow.

As per my knowledge Galaxy Grand is only option.
If you know any other option please mention.

I'm worried about its display also after seeing Sony M.

Just saw Huawei G610 coming soon on flipkart.

Its very difficult to convince a guys who always dream t of having samshit as his first Smartphone. For them HTC is some chinese & sony is an company who sells radios & TVs

Since you're friend's Primary use of handset is :
Mails, Videos Music, light gaming, office apps

& also since he wants a Big screen & good battery, i'd say

1. Xperia SP ( its single sim & around 20000 now, but totally worth the extra bucks )
2. Lenevo s920 & p780
3. Grand/Grand Quattro is ok as far as he's not into heavy gaming. It handles usual normal daily usage with ease. Otherwise, stay away.

i think Xperia C is slightly overpriced.

Ditch Shamesung and Overpriced Xperia C, Get Lenovo P780, best choice that fits the requirements in the mentioned budget.

OR, try to get the original Grand Duos (if he is into samsung so much) but please not the Quattro. Its one of worst handsets ever released.

For 18k, S4 mini is a good phone considering 1.5GB RAM, some other features

S4 Mini is good for 18k, considering it has better processor than Xperia L (overclocked to 1.7), 1.5GB RAM, IR blaster(a cool feature), Samsung's touchwiz software features like Multi window, etc
