I asked to a local shop amd they said the price of u2211h is 17600, i wish i could get this monitor for the above mention price or less price. Would any one suggest me a way. Am from kottayam in kerala.
or reffer me some alternatives. I have configured my all new rig. Am waiting for the most suitable monitor which wont dig my pocket 17000 deep....
And they also said that its a back to back product and it will take about 7 working days to reach to shop, is that true or are they just demanding it?
What about these options
Benq V2200 ECO
Benq G2420HD ( i knw its 24")
ViewSonic VX2250wm

Please also tell me why i should go for the particular monitor

Again thanks in advance

I think that Dell u2211h uses IPS a.k.a In-Plane Switching technology to create its display on its screen. IPS is the latest technology that has been introduced in the monitor market. I do not know about IPS technology other than what I have told so far.
Though I am not 100% sure, I think TFT is the previous generation technology, which is also much cheaper than IPS based monitor. Usually manufacturers do not specify what technology they are using in the name of the product. So it is up to you to find out what it is.
As for my suggestion, I have recently ordered Benq E2220 22" LCD Monitor. That was the monitor that I could find that had most features. I am not sure if my preference is going to help you.

U2211H IS an IPS panel, which means that it will have better colors etc. Blacker blacks, whiter whites .... For pro uses.

Also as TN panel are very vibrant, IPS looks "dull" and aren't recommended for gaming/movies.

If you are open to buying online, SMC has them.
