Upscaling DVD Player vs HD Media Player

extremely confused between the two. Though i don't have much knowledge on HD Media Player's capability(wifi streaming, audio decoding etc), I heard it can upscale sd content better than DVD player having up-scaling capability.

i want to know at this time, which option i should opt -

for up-scaled video, HD video(mkv, mp4), 5.1 digital audio, subtitle, HDMI & optical out.


also can someone enlighten me about wifi feature of the HD media player.

HD Media player is anyday pawns DVD upscaling player....
bcoz u get full HD (1080p) playback & wifi streaming...

wifi feature means u can access your HDD using a wi-fi connection for that u need wi-fi router....

yes..go for a HD media player as it supports majority of the file formats which upscaling media player won't.

dvd player has one advantage that i can buy a dvd and play it instantly.

Can I stream movies from my laptop to HD Media player wirelessly ?

^^ yes u can. make sure you get a HD media player with Ethernet port.
