a friend has a problem of operating the APC UPS 800VA while on generator line.
It switches to backup battery mode when the load on the generator line increases and fluctuation in voltage occurs frequently.
according to him, a stabilizer was installed but didnt have any positive results. probably of some local brands..
and the input was shown at around 200 and output is 220.
As per spec. from APC site...APC 800VA
on-line voltage range is 176 - 294 vac
avr = +/- 12%
on-line frequency range = 47- 63 hz (autosensing)
so it could be a low voltage problem? or a frequency range problem?
or could the stabilizer used is a dud and not efficient?
so any electronic guru out here who knows about these electricity stuffs, please help in rectifying the problems....thanks in advance
do u think these will solve the problems?
