upgrading system.. need advice :)

Hello everyone, i am new here so please be kind
Here are the specs that i currently have :

CPU : Intel pentium 4 3.2ghz with Ht
GPU : Nvidia geforce 8600gt 512mb (540mhz core clock ,30 stream processors, 128 bit , 22gb memory bandwidth)
RAM : 1.5gb ddr2 600mhz
PSU : 450w (local)
MOBO : Gigabyte g31s2l
COOLING: Stock
(i know it sucks pretty bad :p)

Here are the specs that i am planning to buy :

CPU : Intel core i5 2500 3.3ghz with turbo mode to 3.7ghz
GPU : zotac geforce Gtx 560 Ti 1gb
RAM : Gskill 4GB ddr3 1600 mhz
PSU : Corsair gs 600w
MOBO : Asus h61
COOLING : Hyper 212 plus
Cabinet : corsair elite 320
I'd like to know if:

1. Is this power supply enough?
2. (IMPORTANT) are these specs enough for all the latest games on ultra?(1240x1024)
3. Will i be able to fit hyper 212 plus in corsair elite 320 and also will the ram fit?

now m going for the elite 430, its nice i guess!!
do you know the price of cpu n gpu? (delhi or mumbai? )

1.Definitely.GS 600 can even handle HD 6970.
2.actually overkill for that resolution.
3.don't know about the CM 320 but if you mean CM elite 430 then it will.:)

if you do not want to overclock then you really don't need a cooler.stock cooler should be sufficient.i5 2500 cannot be overclocked anyway.

Thanx bro.. But i need a after market cooler because i live in india and its pretty damn hot here in summers.. its winter season right now though :p but still.. and i have heard the stock coolers are ****!!

i'll be upgrading my monitor soon.

yeah i will be getting a cm 430 now.. :)

A: Not much!! once i buy a system, i won't be upgrading for like 2 years.. except minor upgrades like RAM , HDD

A: yeah, i will use my sony dvd writer and my HDD's and my monitor so won't be buying all that!!

13. Which city do you live in and are you open to buying from shops from other city/states?
A: I live in new delhi(INDIA).. Will be buying from delhi only (nehru place or wazirpur computer market)

14. Mention any other points if deemed necessary
A: please don't recommend me AMD products. and also don't recommend me ATI gfx.

Bro.. I don't want to upgrade to an AMD and ATI products.. Please recommend only nvidia and intel products!! Also i have a mouse and keyboard and monitor.

Intel's i5 2500 can beat phenom 2 x4 955 any day in a blink of an eye!! so, i'd like to upgrade to something latest and best!!

Bro, i will be selling my p4 3.2ghz ht , gigabyte g31 mobo , 15.gb ddr2 ram , 8600gt graphic card , 450 watt psu and case!! How much should i expect by selling all this? please i need to know this!!

Thanks bro.. this config looks good!! I Need to sell off my p4 config , just need to know what's the reasonable amount that i should ask for it!!

can u please tell me what should i be getting by selling these off approximately!!

@OP: I made a typo.. Processor would be i5-2400, not i5-2320.

I sold all that for only 2100 rupees or $42

Hey how much is the price of hd 6970??

I aksed a guy at wazirpur he told me 8900 rupees.. I think hes sorely mistaken

^^ He has told you the price of HD 6790, not HD 6970.

HD 6970 is around 19K to 20K.

Total amount with tax was : rupees 42100 or $842
