1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run?
It will be used for basic things like heavy browsing for 5 hours minimum,, watching videos, doing ms office spreadsheets, image editing, transferring videos from DVD to hdd.
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then please mention.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Windows 10
5. How much hard drive / solid-state drive space is needed?
1 TB or more HDD.
Have 150 GB HDD bought 14 years ago
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention the screen size and resolution you prefer. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, then do mention the screen size and resolution of the monitor you have.
I have Flatron L1753S LG. It seems the screen is so small.
So I want to upgrade to a touch monitor.
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy? i.e. which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Wireless mouse, Circle cabinet
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Immediatly
9. Have you ever built a desktop before? Or, will this be done by an assembler?
No
I have to search for an assembler to do it.
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
I am in Bangalore. Yes I want to buy locally and also buy online
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
It is for my brother, who is physically disabled. He wants to upgrade the old PC to a latest configuration or preferably assemble an all in one PC. If you are from Bangalore on this forum, will you be able to help?
It should run for another 10 years.
As per our basic knowledge and research, we are looking at this specs
1. 10/11 th generation i5
2. 1 TB or more HDD
3. 8 GB Memory
4. WiFi and Bluetooth, WLAN, SD Card Reader, Audio Jack, USB 2.0, USB 3.2, Line Out, HDMI, RJ45 { Ethernet Port}, DVD rw dual format,
5. Wireless keyboard
