still find time for games
Corsair vx450. You need to spend a little more... around 3K. But believe me it's worth every penny.

1) Get Corsair or Cooler Master PSU's.

2) Why are you upgrading to 8800GT, which has become stale or for that price you get HD8450 or 9800GT??

^^ +1 desiibond...
BTW a PowerSafe 500W Silver - 1.5k or a CM 600W - 2.2k or a Corsair VX450W - 3.1k

Just get a HD4850 and you'll be never disappointed with that one...:D

It will handle HD 4850. But you can stick to the 450 watt zebronics one. First check with this if it works then OK you can upgrade a month or two later with Crosair 450 and if its not then you can buy that 500W for now.

But I too will recommend you crosair Vx450 as the first choice.

And for GFX go For palit HD4850.

Actually, HD4850 is not available in my city easily, so I got 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition..on the box it is written that it require a 500W+ PSU Unit

you can get gfx card and PSU shipped. Buy online

its alot much time hence those gfx card would be available in your city. Look in, the shoppkeepers always try to sell what they got in store.

If budget is any problem then go for other card check HD3870 would be available in around 7K
HD3850 in 5-5.5K
9600GT in 6-6.5K
9800GT in around 8K
HD4850 in around 10K
stick with good PSU as desibond and other suggests. They are good not just in name but are real deal. Pick GPU as per your budget.
Check this site for little pricing overview for PSU and for GFX Card

Actually 3870 is a flop. If you are on a budget then go with a Palit 9800GT for 7.7k and Corsair VX450W for 3.2k.

Listen, what's the price of the 8800GT, cause u can get a 9800GT @ 7.5k u nooe(same performance, aftr all its rebranded 8800GT only)

And yes, 500W will suffice
