Upgradin HDD on P-III config...

i got a p-iii config, with mercury 810e fst mobo. can i add a 160gb HDD to it?
if yes, wat kinda hdd do i get? sata or pata? its confusin since i got only ide cables inside. do i need to upgrade ne firmware? does my mobo need a BIOS update? :roll:
also leme know wich manufacturer to opt 4? & price range.

ps- my config: 128mb sd ram, 20gb hdd, 866mhz processor.

U need a IDE kinda HDD i.e. Parallel ATA (PATA) perhaps.. not sure about PATA.. but not SATA for sure...

No SATA requires new mobo itself.. not a Firmware.

Try Seagate or Western Digital for HDDs

Ps.. Seriously U need an upgrade atleast in the next year

yeah pata's ur hdd.....go for seagate or western digital(if u get one).....p3 mobos don't support SATA....firmware? u mean BIOS? no BIOS upgrades are necessary

wats da price range? guess will opt 4 seagate. wont get western digital here.
