Required your help in deciding my PC Configuration
I want to make best use of my current configuration
My current configuration:
Phenom II X2 555 B.E.
MSI 880GM-E41
Corsair 2x 2 GB Value Select
Zeblin Cabinet & Power Supply: Zeblin ZL 450W-P4
AOC F19S Monitor
HP dvd 1260t DVD Writer
Western Digital Caviar Black 750GB WD7502AAEX
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:FPS Games (Crysis 3, Far Cry 3,Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare,Metro 2033, Assassin's Creed seies....) , Internet surfing, Watching Movies & Programming Java & C++
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:15 - 20k, Can be extended
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:If game requires, yes
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Win 8
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:Will manage with current
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:No, I have 19' 1366 x 768
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: DVD writer, HDD, Monitor
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: As soon as i decide on final config
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:Yes i have assembled computers
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:Faridabad, Nehru Palace & buying online if required
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Guys i want to make best use of my current configuration, i want to use it for next 2 years after upgrade
