Not just nvme, all ssd prices have increased by as much as 40%. In fact the 120gb kingston A400 which used to sell for ~1500 now cost 2500 which is almost 67% increase!!

Yes, but not much point in getting a M.2 SATA. If next-gen games get some good benefits due to fast NVMe SSDs, it will be better to get an NVMe. Till then, no appreciable difference between a good SATA & top NVMe SSD. Prices might start falling again next year or later this year.

Yes but it does save on space inside cabinet at the cost of wasting an extra sata port. I also said same thing about good sata ssd being practically same as cheap nvme ssd models. You can get 1080p 144Hz IPS display at 15k these days, so a nice upgrade if you can spend extra, otherwise your 1080p 75Hz TN is fine.

M.2 NVMe SSD prices are increasing, so better wait it out if you have a decent SSD already.

Yes, not only is an RTX 2060 rig capable of 100+ fps in a lot of games, which along with G-sync (connect with DP to use g-sync on freesync monitors) will look great in games, but everything will look better in general because it is an IPS panel vs TN in your current display. It goes like this:

I guess having both 4k and higher refresh rate is very costly. if I have to opt for one I guess I will opt for 4k. Do you think otherwise?

I can't comment your question directly, but if someone buys a 27" 4K monitor, then most likely he/she is like to use ~110% or ~125% scaling.

Otherwise the text is too small. (Note: My use case is screen estate, not gaming)

that is a very valid point. I use it as all in one PC not only gaming so I need to balance it out.

Since you mentioned gaming, 4K is a bad choice, unless you get RTX 2080Ti as that's the only GPU able to push 4K 60fps at ultra/very high.

If you are willing to spend, 1440p 144Hz is a good balance between resolution & refresh rate without costing a lot. Acer VG271U (IPS) is a great choice, LG 32GK650F (VA) is another option, both cost 25k on sales.

20k, I think. It was a single fan Asus which has shit thermals, so wasn't a good buy. I think MSI or Gigabyte ones were selling for 24k at times. Zotac one has been going for 24.5-25k usually, so considering that 26k is fine IMO. If you are willing to wait, wait till late 2020 or early 2021 as new CPUs & GPUs are coming from all companies (Intel one is already out but that doesn't make a dent to R5 3600 because of price).
