Unable to uninstall IE 8

Dear friends ,

I have updated my IE6 to IE 8 (beta version) but now i cannot able to uninstall IE 8 and come back to IE 6 or 7, Even if i remove the IE 8 from addremove programs and from the windows components still when i click IE only IE 8 is coming please help me out

thats weird , try this. Go to add/remove programs, click on Select Windows Components to add/remove.. uncheck the IE checkbox, reboot..IE should be gone now. again go to the same menu and now check the IE check box, it will ask u to put XP cd, do as asked, reboot. IE 6 should be back now.
