Unable to open drives by double clicking

i m using win XP sp2 on my desktop . whenever i open any drive (other than C following messg is popped up :- "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create a association in the Folder Options in Control Panel"

i have tried thru folder options still the prob persists. C: drive opens on double click but that too in a new window . Plz help me out.

Please search b4 posting. At least thousands of threads are in this forum on this topic.

For quick resolution,
go to command prompt and search any autorun file in that particular drive.
Delete them.

And u r done
