I wanted to install ubuntu 8.10 on my laptop Acer 4730z.

2gb ddr2 memory
160 GB HDD
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
2USB ports
Webcam
When experiementing with the live cd of Ubuntu 8.10, everything is working except webcam. How to make it work? I am entirely new to Linux and don't know anything about linux. Please give simple to follow suggestions.
