Troubleshooting DSLW200 Modem

Hi, I am using BSNL DSLW200 wifi modem and often facing problem with internet connection issue.
Quite often the modem stops working. If I set the IP V4 manually the default gateway address is automatically vanishes. Each time I have to Hard Reset the modem to bring it in working state. Is there any way out other than Hard resetting the modem...

Try alternative firmware.... I had similar issues on my TP Link with a PPPoE connection. Rolled back to a previous FW and it worked fine afterwards.
