torrent incomplete download

i use azurus as a torrent downloader.i was downloading a file which is 400mb,but as it was about 45% complete.i have to uninstall the azurus for some reason.i saved the downloaded file but the torrent file was deleted.i searched for the torrent on net for the same file name.please ,can anyone tell me to resume my downloading from the 45% mark?

i dont think u can once the torrent file is deleted ...

If u can find the original torrent file, you definetly can resume from where you left. But the thing is, only the same torrent you used to download the incomplete will do. Just make a backup of the incomplete file and try with a torrent that you think is the right one.

Your download must have been saved to a folder named similar to the torrent file. If you uninstalled Azureus, there still must be its folder on the drive where the torrent files are kept(the one from where you're downloading). If not, try to search for that VERY SAME TORRENT ONLY.
Then open it with the client & on asking you the directory of download, direct it to the previous d/l directory.
So, the golden rule is: Always backup the download folder & the torrent file before doing any funky thing.
