Thunderbird gone mad

Hi
Using thunderbird. But after ten days when I opened it there were folders in the left information bar which displays all the folders.
There were two subfolders: desktop.ini and folder.htt under every folder.
This looks very unneat.
Show me the way you all geeks.

check out other folders in ur drives.if its the same case with each folder,then i guess ur pc is infected with the HTML redlof virus

backlight is right. It if exists in all the folders then it is a virus. Had the same prob in my college once

AntiVirus is very much needed. Do get one!
For now get McAfee Stinger and run it.
Get an full fledged AntiVirus like AVG 7 Free Edition or NOD32...

& also if u r in a broadband connction then get a free AVS & run a online scan with a good AVS....

Hey now my browser i.e Firefox screwed up and is going like 5kbps on my 115kbps connection.
Is this a virus tooo?

Run it, copy the log file it generates and paste its contents here so we can take a look.
