Sevilla star Puerta dies.
The Sun said:
SEVILLE defender Antonio Puerta has tragically died after he failed to recover from a heart attack.

The Spanish star, 22, collapsed on the field during his team's match against Getafe.

Puerta had been in an intensive care unit since Saturday and had been given assisted ventilation.

He had lost consciousness and fell near his own goal, but was able to walk off minutes later after being treated by team doctors.

He collapsed again in the dressing room before being taken to the hospital.

Sevilla have called off tonight's Champions League qualifier with Greek side AEK Athens.

It would really be a disaster for Barca. BTW, if he joined any other club then it would be really nice for EPL (not Chel$hit, though)...after the deparature of Henry to Spain.

West Ham to sign Adriano from Inter (Loan deal???)???

Breaking News:
Russian buys stake at Arsenal.
FORMER Arsenal Vice Chairman David Dein has sold his 14.5 percent stake in the club to a firm co-owned by Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov for £75million.

The announcement by the firm Red and White Holdings Ltd puts further pressure on the board to face an eventual takeover.

Red and White said it wants to increase its stake and would approach the board shortly.

Dein, who is a director of Red and White, insisted tonight there is no “current intention” to try to take over the entire club.

Red and White will seek a meeting with the Arsenal board and are keen to keep manager, Arsene Wenger.

Dein said: “Today’s announcement marks a significant step towards realising the vision I share with thousands of fans at home and abroad of making Arsenal the world’s number one football club.

“I have not lost my passion for the club; indeed, it is greater than ever. My ambition remains to play an active role in Arsenal again. My immediate intention is to work with others to provide the financial resources necessary to turn the vision of Arsenal as the world’s number one club into reality.”

Mr Moshiri is a London-based fund manager and the chairman of Russian mining company, Metalloinvest.

Usmanov, who has a box at Arsenal, is the majority shareholder of Metalloinvest and has media and telecoms holdings that include Russia’s largest business newspaper and investment in a mobile phone company.
