But mobile phones? Yes, the Swiss luxury watchmaker is all set to enter the mobile phones market.
For this purpose, it has partnered with French customized design manufacturer, Modelabs Group, and the awesome twosome will soon design, produce, and market luxury 'tailor-made' mobile phones branded 'TAG Heuer'.
In a joint statement, the companies said the first TAG Heuer mobile telephones are foreseen for the second half of next year.
All said, TAG Heuer seems to be following the precedent set by designer labels, Armani and Prada, each of which has partnered with separate mobile companies to launch their branded mobile devices.
