When I try to add/delete files to my T.Sonic 610 MP3 player, via my computer, it gives me an error stating that the device is write-protected, Please remove the write-protection to continue. But I have checked, and the player is not locked. Moreover, I am able to start and play the files from my player. I can delete my music files through the player interface too.
How do I start adding files to my player now?

I wrote about this to the Transcend Tech Support too. They advised me to flash my fimware, which I tried doing according to their instructions, but I recieved an error stating that the drive was "Write Protected", yet again.

Are you sure it does not have hardware write protection? If there is no hardware protection, do try writing with a different computer. If the problem persists with the new machine, your MP3 player is faulty. Get it exchanged. Hope it is under warranty.

There is a player lock, but I checked, it is not enabled. Moreover, I am able to delete files via the player, meaning that the flash drive in d layer is not locked.

No, my player is now out of warranty...

Done, my problem is solved.
I dont know how, but somehow the USB protection was enabled on my system, which I diasabled to allow writing to a USB.

OFFTOPIC: For once, Vaibhavtek's post was useful for me!!
