hi guys, i donno how to say this, but i recently purchased a samsung 2233sw replacing my dell s1909w and soon after i changed it, my pc system become considerably slow, especially while installing softwares and also when plzying movies it takes more time to load and start playing than it took before. i thought it was an OS issue first and reinstalled my Vista Home Premium twice, but still the same. what shud i do guys???

my system config is C2D E6300, MSI P45 Neo, 500x3 sataII, 2x2gb DDRII, Palit 9800gt

what shud i change(in the least expensive way) to get back my performance???

System slowing down due to LCD.
R u on LSD?

Never heard anything like that.

Sorry, can't imagine the situation...there might be other reasons. Some heavy background tasks might be going on when u execute those tasks. (Gaming or insatalling S/W)

I think after connecting the LCD, you are installing games to play with which will take up some time. But monitor is not responsible for it.

I don't think so. 22" LCd would require more power.
IMO, u'l need 600 or 650watt PSU.

Let others comment on it.

a 22" LCD consumes typically 45w power.
anyway I don't think its nowhere related to PSU. I have a coolermaster 390W smps but still there is no difference in switching from 19" CRT to 22" viewsonic LCD.
Although I do agree video card need to render a larger region now than before.

i went to *crucial.com/ to check my ram settings and it asked me to dowload a scanner and as soon as ran it my system showed a bsod, and restarted automatically. thrice i ran it and it restated every time with bsod "Driver irql not less or equal" and code: 0x000000D1 - -CrucialSMBusScan.sys
