Surveillance camera and Compaq

techies i have a compaq notebook M 2000 and a surveillance camera with 2 normal outputs (audio and video) i wnated how can i link the two to obtain visuals from the camera on my laptop.......

u need a capture card for that.. if ur laptopn doesnt have video input(i dont think any have)

there is some video thing i think because there is a port where i can plug in a cable that i got with gforce fx5200 where the other end i can connect to my camera but now i dont know whether that cable can do the desired work and what application should i use for video caturing ...... (what i mean is that 1 end of the cable goes to the laptop and the other to the camera but i dont know whether the notebook and the camera a re compatible)
