250nits is enough unless you have harsh sunlight hitting the monitor directly in a bright room. Most monitors in this price point will be 250nits, some 24" 1080p gaming monitors might be 300nits, like this:

Yes, the Rs 12,000 barrier, but not a single company has tried to break it. 27" 1440p 300nits with 100Hz, or higher @omega44-xt
