Is it really possible to get BOTH.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 is a good bike. If you are willing to stretch a little go for the Avenger. I have it for three years now, no problems. Mileage 40 kmpl in city.

Pulsar: good bike but very common
*gud mileage
*better maintenance
*all avg

unicon: gr8 mileage[55+] and is common too
*refined engine and exhaust
*no so powerful especially in torque
*provenb quality

*GS150R: again gr8 mileage[55+] and no so common[newly released]
*refined but not as unicon.
*better power than unicon but still not that gr8

R15: killer looks, power and torque for 150cc
*gr8 speed, power torque, stability etc
*maintainance cost is comparitively high
*too expensive at 1.1L
*mileage about 35~40 [sometimes 30~35]

FZ16/S: killer looks and maneuverability
*gr8 control and torque
*avg mileage of 40~45

RTRFI 160: bit expensive, gr8 power and looks
*gud mileage[48+]
*gr8 power close to R15[still not as close]
*non refined engine
*has irritating vibrations


this is all my experience. havnt tried more than one bike for GS and RTRFI, still i think they are true.

I am planning to take a bike too. Mileage is primary concern since I plan to travel 30-40 km for 3-5 days a week. Which should I go for? Honda Unicorn?

XCD or Platina 125 has highest mileage in 125class.
In 150/160 class, unicon>GS150R>pulsar>RTRFI>R15/FZ>
