i almost tried every s/w you suggested in trial version..
i feel the active hdd monitor a bit better than others.. but every s/w shows my disk health as 57-59% and describes as "good" or "ok"..
wat does that mean ?
My hdd is just 3-4 months old..

...the % shown the data spread in the hard disk sectors.....so in order to reduce the percentage is to defrag on very regular basis......and....this % age shouldn't worry you......this % shall reduce when you start installing more data very frequently that too without defragging your system on a regular basis......remember....ur data gets spread ontp the magnetic sectors all the time when u start adding more stuff...that reduces the hdd health.....so defrag more......thats very general rule
