Hey Guys

I am planning to buy Intex Force Plus. It has in-built call recording feature and is available for Rs. 1379 at snapdeal. At this price, it is most likely a use and throw kind of phone but I wouldn't mind getting a better brand since my budget is 5k.
Any suggestion guys?

Try Xolo Mobile for Android.
Xolo A500L

Even try Sony Tipo in Offline Market.
You may get a good stock clearance price between 5-6K.

Android have better Call Record function.
But You may have to transfer / shift the Recorded Files to memory Card.
Because the memory is less in phone memory.

Nice suggestions, thank you.
Will gather more info on them but Xolo makes a good first impression.
Hope one of these ends my search.

Hey Guys

After much of thinking and considering that the phone will stay mostly in my bag, I have decided to go for Intex Force Plus.
Although phones suggested were very good at that price point but the thing that put me off was touch screen, which will eventually drain battery lot faster. BTW, intex has 1800 mah battery whereas xolo and sony have 1500.

Nonetheless, thanks for helping out, see you again.

as Satinder said, android offers versatility in call recording.

'Automatic call recorder' app does it automatically, or when user initiates it.
In auto mode, it creates a folder per day, in phone memmory. We have to cut-paste these to external memory to save space.
Other apps not tested.

If someone wants a non-Android phone with call recording feature, what would be the suggestion guys?
My lawyer friend is trying to find one, and he won't use Android / touch-screen. Reputed brands only.

TIA.

^Try Q5 Blackberry
if budget is no problem.
BlackBerry Q5 Price in India - Buy BlackBerry Q5 Black 8 GB Online - BlackBerry: Flipkart.com

You can use Android App (.apk) Files also in BB phones as an advantage.
Download Call Recorder File from Google / Android market.

Lol, yeah budget is a problem for him. He earns a lot but uses some low-mid range Nokia, no way he is gonna invest that much.
He is cheap, so he needs cheap. Undoubtedly within 5k.
