Please suggest me a reasonably priced MP3 player that can be used to listen to songs while going for morning jogs.

1. Priority is that that player should be light in weight
2. Radio will be an additional advantage.

^Get the shuffle, best for jogging.

Yup u can go for shuffle or any other Flash based player for that matter..oher alternatives are creative Zen or something from Transcend..they should suffice.

Make sure you have a pair of EP-630 or any in ear type headset wid it,otherwise d bundled shuffle earplugs keep coming out of ya ear when jogging;)

transcend T-Sonic 610 with some good earphones is the best for me.
I use it with the shoulder strap, with the wires of the earbuds inside my shirt, so it does not interrupt me while running/jogging.
It also has radio.

Think Zen.
^backphones are better than in-ear ones, you may miss some quality, but for some folks , like me for instance, even in-ear ones dont stay long while jogging.

How much does the T610 cost and do we need to take the shoulder strap separately and if yes then how much does it cost and whats the capacity.

And yes i do have the Creative EP630 and will be using that only :D

It comes with neck band, shoulder strap, arm band, and a transparent case.
Its good that you have the EP630. The default earplugs suck in T610.
T610 costs anywhere from 1.6k to 2.3k, although I recomend you try for the 2k range atleast.
Capacity is from 512mb to 2gb, and I have the 2gig ivory white model.
Its got a radio tuner, voice recorder, fm recorder, ab repeat, wmv playback, wav playback, mp3 playback and is durable.
I once kept it in tight jeans pockets and went to sleep on a hard floor mat.
Its earbuds went kaput the 20th time I tried such a thing, but the player was not at all affected.

Yes shoulder straps are sold seperately or u can make them by urself..!Not a big deal. .Another alternative to shoulder strap is u can use any pouch(prefer a cotton cloth based),keep d player in it and hold it while jogging, better control ovr what ur listening..:)

I think iPod shuffle will be a good option but you will not have FM radio with it. In that case you may have to opt for the Transcend model. I have used both the pieces!

Which would be the best place in Mumbai to buy the T610 1GB/2GB with the most competitive rate? Also can anybody tell me what all is included in the packaging and how much is the current price (approx) of 1GB/2GB model ?

sony nwz-s205 is a good buy but it comes with annoying sonicstage software and also there is no fitness tracking app.

@rak007. Better search for pedometer included player. I will stay away from ipod shuffle as it doesn't have a display and creative zen stone plus is a better option. Transcend players and sandisc entry level players are good too.
