You got it. Similar situations exist with other things too. For example, using a printer or a thumb drive through USB 3, a broadband modem via Gigabit LAN, a CD/DVD drive on SATA, etc. In all these cases, the devices don't even come close to pushing data at the maximum speed of the interface.Oh,so its the interface thats faster;not the hard drives that are compatible with it.
