Suggest a good 1 TB hdd around 3.5k

Please suggest a good 1 TB hdd around 3.5k,any company will do.Primary purpose is gaming and multimedia.It should have sata 6 gb/s interface

Don't bother with Sata3. There is no performance difference between Sata 2 and Sata3.
Get a Seagate 7200.12 1TB @ 2.7k

Current HDDs aren't even fast enough to fully utilize the bandwidth of Sata2. You'll probably need a very fast SSD or maybe a SSD-RAID to get actually get that much speed.

You got it. Similar situations exist with other things too. For example, using a printer or a thumb drive through USB 3, a broadband modem via Gigabit LAN, a CD/DVD drive on SATA, etc. In all these cases, the devices don't even come close to pushing data at the maximum speed of the interface.
