Suggest a cheapest available cpu-mobo combo.

Hi all,suggest me a cheapest cpu-mobo combo which will be used for internet surfing & 24*7 downloading.

Do you have RAM and HDD..???
If yes, then which RAM..???

The cheapest combo possible IMO is
* AMD AthlonII X2 250 -- 2.6k
* Asus M4N68T-M -- 2.4k
Total -- 5k
The mobo is DDR3 supported.
If u have DDR2 RAM then u have to look for another mobo supporting DDR2.

You can also have a look at the intel Atom combos at 3k-4k. They are also less power consuming and are very good for internet usage.

If u r running ur PC 24*7 then u should also have a good PSU like FSP SAGAII 350W at 1.5k.

Plz no asus board any alternative from gigabyte/msi.I have ddr2 ram depending on the mobo i can buy ddr3 rams.

any specific reason for avoiding Asus. And for around this price it will be difficult to find a alternative from other brands. I will post alt. Boards when i find 'em.
BTW how much DDR2 RAM do you have. And will u be opting a DDR2 or DDR3 board.

I have 2 sticks of transcend 1gb.I had the worst experience with asus & its service so avoiding it.If i get cheap mobo with ddr3 no problem, i will sell these ddr2 rams & buy new ddr3 ram.Thanks for the help.
