Good sheetAs always, I created a spreadsheet for the best budget phones to buy this sale. And I am going with Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, 4/64 GB model. Yes it's camera doesn't have OIS, but EIS is promised to arrive. Also ASUS have promised atleast 2 more Android major updates. Plus the phone have 5000 freaking Mhz battery. Would be good for my dad's usage. Finally, it have dedicated slots for 2 SIM and 1 MicroSD card. I won't need to use a MicroSD card since internal memory of 64 GB is apt, but still it's good to have the choice.

Disclaimer: There maybe some error in some data in the above sheet. Since I made with my cousin last night and didn't really focus on that much accuracy. Idea was just to jot down main points to convince ourselves that Zenfone was the only good choice.
So reader's please check data themselves in case they want to buy a certain phone.
Overpriced, lacks 3.5 mm jack and has low battery. Xiaomi getting greedy by success of Mi A1.What about mi A2 ?
Same hereI also have confusion between Zenfone Max Pro M1 6gb vs Redmi Note 5 pro. Both are at same price. Some youtubers say Redmi Note 5 pro has better camera and Max Pro M1 still have some bugs. But Max Pro M1 has 6gb Ram, Stock Android and separate micro SD Card.
6 GB variant has better camera than the other 2.But is 6 GB variant REALLY worth the extra Rs 1700? Isn't 4 GB RAM ENOUGH for a snapdragon 636 chipset?
I have decided to save some money and get the 4 GB variant instead.
The difference between cameras of 6GB Zenfone & RN5 Pro isn't big but RN5P is better for sure. I didn't observe any major bugs or anything when I used 3GB model about 3 months ago. As I said, Xiaomi pushing ads in UI is enough for me to look elsewhere. I don't like stock android because it lacks features which custom UIs provide, but at 15k I'd personally opt for a phone with stock android than use a phone with ads in UI.I also have confusion between Zenfone Max Pro M1 6gb vs Redmi Note 5 pro. The 6GB variant has better front & rear cameras, so it is worth it for that. As far as RAM is concerned, I found 3GB enough for zenfone (my cousin has 3GB model). But is 6 GB variant REALLY worth the extra Rs 1700? Isn't 4 GB RAM ENOUGH for a snapdragon 636 chipset?

Nope, it has better sensors. EIS would be in all variants after pie update AFAIK but 6GB one would get it first.WTH. 6 GB also differs in camera quality? How exactly? Does it have OIS or EIS? Or more MEGA PIXELS? If it's mega pixels it's not really an upgrade.
Do you have ready reference comparison pics to share? I am in office can't google here.Nope, it has better sensors. EIS would be in all variants after pie update AFAIK but 6GB one would get it first.
I don't have them, please check xda, gsmarena or any other reputed reviewer's channel.Do you have ready reference comparison pics to share? I am in office can't google here.
