Suggession for UPS/ Inverter-for PC

Hello all after powering for around 2 years by APC 600 home ups Now ups is giving low backup ie. less than a minute


Now outof warrenty iam planning to buy new UPS


APC 1/1.1k ups. @5.7k. + transport if from online
Or
Digital 1000VA UPS


Or a inverter

in last two years i was satisfied with APC service and it was near to my place


I would like to hear suggession about. inverter
1) will inverter able to power PC shown in signature
2) suggest few brands like APC which sellls inverter
3)should i chk compatiblity issues with UPS(Current ups is APC)

4) note - I nevet used inverters in Life.only. used ups, and online ups in office

A ups will give you few minutes to half an hour backup whereas inverter can give you from an hour to as much as the battery has power, depending on battery ah (say two hours on full load of 150ah battery)

Apc 1.1kva ups has 2- 12v 7.2 ah batteries in series...
A inverter can have a 12v 80 ah to 200ah or 2 batteries connected in series
Inverter batteries can last 4 to 5+ years( my battery is 6+ years old and doing great)

And you can power your fans and lights and tv too.... What is your budget? and how much backup you want with any other load(tv, lights, fans)?

APC UPS are square wave or modified sine wave but there are PURE SINEWAVE INVERTERS( Luminous., su-kam). Inverter batteries need distilled water depending on the temperature Of the place etc every 3 months or so( if battery placed in cool location then 5 months also no need battery top up)

Can i know few good brand name and model so i can research on model .price.backup time

i am looking for PC backup mainly+ mayb 1 Or 2 CFL(optional)

budget.: what is the starting price of inverter ).currently i have allocated 4.5-5.5k for ups. Depending on price if inverter i may Or maynot buy inverter

How much backup time do you need?
Some good brand names are Su-Kam and Luminous, AMARON, EXIDE (for inverter)...
I will not say that microtek is good or bad but they are all made with cheap components and are huge cabinet than other inverters....
for battery- Exide, AMARON, Luminous, Su-Kam
