Streaming Issues !!!

[Firstly I tried to search for this but was unsuccessful]

Can anyone here tell me "how do you catch/convert streaming media(video) to any other format(avi, mpg, ...)"? Have tried hard to get it done but failed. Help me plz...

try some capture software which will record any activity on the screen...in avi format..like Digicam

okay thats something to start with. but whats the software called? where do i get it?

the software is called hypercam ( and hypersnap --- if you want screenshots) but dunno from whre to obtain .... try searchin for other capture softwares also.....
