strange ip address conflicting problem.

today atleast i have received this message 2-3 times what could be the problem please help.

no no network.i have lan broadband.

Are u in BSNL broadband??.. I've encountered that sometime.. Jus restarting modem did the trick.. It dint come up for weeks..

It happens when you are behind a proxy server and the same UserName and Password for connecting to it are being used by two or more users. I used to get it when I was doing the same. Check if your UserName and Password is used by someone or not.....

that one will vanish for me.. if i specify the IP address as '192.168.1.1'. try that quan.

i have lan broadband.

then this could happen if someone else on your network(lan) changes his ip to that of yours. If this is the case , then there is probably nothing much you can do about it (except contacting your isp). Not sure if it can cause any harm
