My Friend has a 8GB microSD card from Sandisk ,which contains a lot of Photos,Pics. and other files. It has been formatted under FAT32 system format.

When he reads the card through a card reader on his office computer(MS Windows 7),everything is readable, present and viewed on the screen and he could surf within files.

But when he tries to read the same card onto his Personal Desktop at Home(MS Windows 7), then the error message pop up he gets is:--->

The Drive G: needs to be formatted,do you want to format it now?

How to Help him?

Most probably the second computer is not able to read the memory card due to faulty card reader or USB port.

1% chances can be of infection, but I'd bet on prior.

You can try using different card reader/port.

Since it is working on office computer ask him to tranfer files to that computer format the card and transfer the data back to the card. If it still doesnt work problem is of the card reader at home.

Sometimes easy thoughts are well hidden due to unnecessary thinking...Very Good reply.

Thanks!
