Strange Audio problem with games

Hi ,

I am facing a strange Audio problem while playing games that in some i do not get music while in some i dont get game sounds
I tried Road Rash and NFS 7 Underground , both games are running fine i get audio for vehicles , voices and effects but NO " MUSIC "
While in QUake 3 i get audio at launch but no audio after that ,when i play the movies and demos in Quake3 i get audio but not in game ....

Same games when installed on other PC PIII are working fine with audio and music from the same cd's

Audio is Normal apart from gaming

I am using AMD Sempron 2500+ with Asus K8V-mx with 768 MB DDR and
XP PRO
can any one help me to fix this .........

If the game sources are illegal, they're probably ripped games, so no music mostly.

try reinstalling ur sound drivers,enable music from the options....

@QwertyManiac - if they are ripped games, there should be no music at all, but he says that there is music on his other comp....
