I'm planning to start a forum on my site. For the same purpose, I have selected Phpbb as the forum script. I have started reading up & searching the web regarding phpbb but still I have some queries.
1) Where can I get the high quality free phpbb3 styles i.e. themes/templates? I searched a lot but ended up getting the same set of styles again & again.
2) I think one needs certain plugins for phpbb3 like wordpress(Adsense injection, statspress etc). Which are the essential plugins which one must install after installing phpbb? For e.g. Install smilies, Anti-spam plugins etc.
3) Mention some useful online resources(sites) which one should read before beginning with an online forum. I have read a lot but still it would help if the sites cover up building traffic, maintaining it & also administering it successfully.
