Guys,

I have S30in for almost 2 years and its working well and good. I have an idea to

1. Update my laptop with SSD. I have no idea whether its supports or not (I hope it supports). If yes, can i have both SSD and HDD or i can have one at a time? I have searched many threads/websites but there is no clear solution for this.

2. where can i get Battery and Adaptor for my Lap? I would like to get official and genuine one. But, i couldn't find samsung official estore website regarding laptop accessories.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks
Cyborgz

1. If your laptop supports a hard drive then it will support a SSD.
2. You can have HDD+SSD by:
i)Replacing DVD drive with SSD/HDD.
ii)If your laptop has another SSD slot such as mSATA then you can get a mSATA SSD.

1. How to find whether my Laptop supports Hard Drive? Does it mean it supports external HDD via USB? Sorry, i am kind of new to this.
2. HDD+SSD by replacing DVD Drive. Thats nice idea. Thanks so much for your time and idea.

1.)You can remove the dvd drive and get a ssd caddy hooked in its place while keeping your HDD alongside. Any seasoned laptop accessories or repair shop can do it in less than 30 mins. Don't worry this laptop or perhaps most laptops with dvd drive can get this done.

2) hard to find genuine battery adapter online, tried looking with any nearby retailer's selling Samsung laptops.

Ps: Have the same lappy & will get the ssd upgrade done in a month or two.

If your laptop runs then it supports hard drive.
