Does anyone know of any good sports games? NBA live 08 and fifa being the obvious choices- are there any great tennis games?

Try Virtua Tennis 3. As for football, try Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2007 or 2008 at least once.

Unfortunately most of the sports games this year havent been good.Still you may try Fifa08(only if you havent played 07)
Virtua Tennis 3 and Top Spin 2 are pretty good tennis games.

2 thumbs up for Virtua Tennis 3.This is by far the best Tennis game I have ever played.Not only is the graphic level outstanding but the gameplay is relatively very simple to get adjusted to.Try this out with a controller under any circumstances as it's not made for mouse+keyboard combo at all.
