if u r playing pirated movie DVDs such as 5 in one, then it is normal.they compromise with sound quality so to store more videos.
u can just make the volume fullest & turn on subtitle.

Sound prblem playin dvd/cd with sony dvd RW

Well long story short.. whenever i play a dvd / cd with my sony dvd Rw the sound kind of echoes, the picture is slightly slower, the sound blurs...

the blurry sound is like "kissing sounds" .. it happens only if i play it on my dvd player.. BUT WHEN I PLAY A MOVIE SAVED ON MY HARDDRIVE .. it works perfectly fine..

HELP people.. i posted this earlier too but in the wrong section.. sorry..

Hi Dongay. I had the same mobo till a week ago, and i had the exact same problem, even with 100% original DVD's. It must be sounding like pur...pur..purr. I mean something like that.
Soln.: For increasing the volume, use K-lite codec pack and use the boost sound option.
For the disturbance in the DVD: I don know. i am not having this problem in my new mobo.
