sound problem in xp

hi guys i am using window xp sp3...suddenly my creative 1.1 speaker gone kaput...they are not producing sound


i have noticed following three thing


1.in control panel its showing no hardware is connceted
2.these speaker work with other mp3 player but with very low sound
3.when i plugged in head phone i too didnt get any sound from them


i have reinstalled window+driver but problem is still there...what to do

Hi.

This may the problem of Hardware.

If you are using the External Sound card, please remove and place it on the other slot. This is because of loose connection.

If Sound card is Inbuilt with the Motherboard, then it seems that the its a motherboard problem.

sound card is inbuilt so how to rectify it???
