Sound card worth upgrade?

Hello everyone
I am using Asus XonarDG sound card along with my Corsair SP2500 2.1 speakers. Now I want to know is that should I upgrade my sound card for better sound quality?? I mean if I get higher sound card will it worth my money for 2.1 sound quality (mainly for music) as i m not interested in 5.1 surround sound? If yes then plz suggest me best sound card for my SP2500 2.1 set up. Budget 8000/-

Asus Sonar DX @4575 or Asus Xonar Essence STX @7995 but i am not sure if SP2500 are worth getting a STX or even DX after reading this:

It is the best stereo sound card available in the market.

DG already provides very good sound quality I am not sure but i feel if you get a expensive card you need a very good speaker to get max out of it.
