Need a Mobile - SONY SAMSUNG NOKIA - 7,000 - 10,000 Range

Hello there. Back after nearly two years.
I am planning to buy a mobile this month of either Sony, Samsung or Nokia make. (Service centers of other mobile companies not available at my location)

Preferences -
Price range - 7000 to 10000
Screen size - 4 to 5 inches
Ram - 512 mb - 1 gb
Os - Android / Windows 8 (Android preferable)
Good internal memory (Preferably 8 gb)
Camera - Good quality Primary and secondary with flash preferable
Good hardware, access to google store(if android)
Good after sales service
Good battery life
Dual sim (not required)

Will mainly be using it for games(high / mid end) and taking pictures. I have finalised these -
1. Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 S7582 - Priced at around 8 k . Fits my bill but I'm not a big samsung fan and internal memory and RAM is low. Also camera quality is not good.
2. Sony Xperia M,Sony Xperia E1 - good looks but picture quality of photos captured by camera of both phones are downright pathetic. Also low internal memory.Also can't play and store high/mid end games.
3. Nokia Lumia 520,525, 630 and XL - Lumia 630, 525 and XL seems like a good buy. But I'm not sure about after sales services post microsoft acquisition. Also, Windows store lacks games and applications. XL fits the bill but lacks access to Google Play and is laggy and buggy. (haven't tested camera yet)

Any other better options apart from above three? Any kind of help and suggestions are welcome.

Android you should go for moto e
Windows lumia 525 is a good option.

But I will only opt for mobiles from Sony, Nokia or Samsung (so Moto E or mobiles from other brands are not an option.)

So any other suggestions for Android?

Any better options apart from Nokia 525? I liked 630, but it has only 512 mb ram. And I am personally not too sure about future of Nokia services.

the only problem is that you will have to root it and install play store , change launcher if you like .. if you can do that then there is no other better phone in the market apart from this under 10,000 Rs from reputed brands..

Hi, thanks for your responses . But Nokia X2 has only 4 gb internal Ram which is a huge handicap. Also not interested in rooting the phone. And this phone will take atleast 2-3 more months to be available at my place (spoke to some retailers in my region).

So, any other better phones you can recommend?

+1 to moto e. Others androids in this range aren't worth the price tag

You might regret purchasing branded phones in that range unless you are willing to root and greenify maybe. Many of my friends suffer having owned Xperia E, Galaxy core, s duos 2 etc. I, on the other hand, have rooted my already very lite Lenovo a369i and it is much faster than my phone's friends.

The reason I can NOT buy a "Moto G, Moto E or Lenovo" is simple - THere is Absolutely "NO" service centre or even a "SHOWROOM" within 1000 Miles close to the location where I live. That means if I purchase any mobile, apart from a "SONY, SAMSUNG or NOKIA", I am basically buying a "Dead" phone because I won't be able to get that "Moto E or Lenovo" serviced or repaired anywhere near my location.

So guys, this is my request, kindly suggest me good mobiles from "SONY, SAMSUNG or NOKIA" only and not other branded or non-branded mobiles.

And if I can't get a good quality "SONY NOKIA or SAMSUNG" mobile within 10,000 range, then will I get a better deal above 10,000? I am willing to extend my budget upto 16,000 now ! Thanks in advance

(seems to be the best option considering that you have 3.83GB internal memory user available - comment on GSMArena - and removable battery with decent battery life IPS screen, latest KitKat Android OS)

as u have ruled out moto, lumia 525 is a great option. my friend has it and i feel its a fantastic phone. classy and stylish ui. want to own a windows phone but cant justify purchase of another smartphone

you are not going to get more than 4gb internal memory in this range as internal memory is expensive.. 4gb is not a handicap if you root it .. Who said this phone will launch after 3 months ? Retailers dont get info until its launched ...It is going to get launched in this month itself... There is no better phone than this in this range.. The only problem i see is you dont want to root.. Then increase your budget and buy xperia l or lg l90

you can try ebay or snapdeal.. i am sure they will be able to deliver it to you.. regarding warranty 500kms damn thats way too far.. i think if you talk with the service centre guys they might agree to let you courier them the cell phone.. but that's very hassle and a tedious thing .. i would say buy a Nokia X2 and root it or get xperia M by the way new phones will be launching in this range in 2 months from sony so if you can wait for that.. also MS will be coming up with Lumia 530 and Lumia 730 with 1 gb ram but if i were you i would get a Nokia x2 you don't have to root it if you don't want it/.. you can use X2 as it is and can even change launcher and install a third party playstore like mobogenie etc.. to download apps.. some google apps will not work rest other games and apps should work great.. thats much better than dealing with distant service centers.. only very big games will be a problem and you can root it later if you want to to play those big games

or simply buy Xperia L from amazon/ebay/snapdeal/ or local stores

flipkart has crazy courier service. recently found out that now they don't deliver package above INR5000 in value to Lucknow and Kanpur. 2 years back, i bought a 2tb hdd for some 7.5k and they delivered it. now checked moto g for someone and found out that it can't be delivered even if paid online. checked for Kanpur and same. incidently they can deliver the same to Allahabad. unable to understand their problem now.
sent an email / feedback regarding the same and got standard useless answer - provide an alternate address for delivery.

As of now, I have decided to extend my budget by another 10,000. Now my choices are Xperia ZR and Lumia 625 (both available on flipkart). How's Xperia Zr by the way? Is it worth 20k? And how about Lumia 625? (Choosing it mainly for its Camera - Led Flash and secondary camera+looks). But 512 mb ram is a huge handicap for the future !

525 is a great device, unfortunately no secondary camera and Flash and also want one with minimum 4.5-5 inches screen size for reading pdf's and other docs on the web as well as games. What's your opinion about 625? Is it a good camera phone?

Xperia Zr is totally worth the price ...best phone under 20k apart from the almighty xiomi Mi3

avoid lumia 635 totally

512 + low pixel density

in windows

wait for lumia 730 to arrive , maybe 820 could be considered if it is urgent but none of them stand much chance against Xperia ZR
