I am willing to sell my Sony Cybershot W120 camera which i purchased on 7.10.08. It had 12 months warranty then so it must be like 9 months warranty from now. I have got bill and everything included in the box plus few goodies.

The camera is perfectly new and totally scratchless LCD as i always put it in the cover.

It cost me 8700/- (bill included), along with it i am including an original 1GB Sony MSPRoDuo which cost me 900/- (with bill and box) and an original Sandisk 1GB which cost me 600/- (with bill and box). I also purchased a high durability Camera W series cover that cost 300/- at Sony showroom.
Reason for selling:- I am buying a new electric guitar of Ibanez that costs me 30500/- so lil short on money. For me music rules over photography.

I am willing to sell all these things for Rs. 9500/-

Forgot to mention...premium shipping to any place is included in price

The price mentioned is above the prevalent market prices for that of the new product.
Reduce the price if you really want to make a sale.

The total that i have mentioned above on retail goes for 10500/- so i ve made it 1000 less coz its barely two months old...

Another thing, shopkeepers offer you memory sticks and covers but these are bought seperately and are original ones, a duplicate pro duo costs 200-300 bucks, but not real ones....i ll soon post pics

4 GB Sandisk original doesnt come for less then 2000/-, you can confirm it with any showroom selling original sticks and not the fake ones.
How to find a fake stick?
Plug it into a PSP if u have, if it shows MagicGate: Unknown then it is duplicate
and if it shows MagicGate:Supported then it is real.

I wud prefer not selling my Camera for less then 9000/-
You can consider the offer at ebay and buy it, coz the lowest price there is 6900 as well as the highest is going till 14000 for the same W130.

Mate, trying to get the price you want is one thing, but trying to sell it at prevailing market rates is another.

Fine, that thing I agree with you....but do you know that the cost of a real Sony 1GB MSProDuo is Rs.990 at any good shop in India...whereas the counterpart duplicate is just for 250 bucks.....2GB sony is some 1400 bucks and duplicate is for some 350 bucks....the link that u provided shows the Memory stick without even logo, at least the provider of that thing shud have faked the pic...Same goes with original cover..
Moreover, I ensure that if the buyer who buys my camera is dissatisfied by the quality and originality of camera, sticks and the cover then I am ready to pay back the whole amount...or else the buyer can pay me half and pay the remaining upon receiving

Camera now.... 8900/- with 1 GB stick
1GB Sony now.... 990/- (so minus it from above)
1GB SanDisk now... 650/-
Pouch(i donno present price)....300/- when i purchased.
That sums up to..9840 + add shipping
if i send it by premium shipping, add some 500 bucks...and if normal shipping then some 200 bucks...
So that rounds off around 10000 bucks
and i am selling it for 7000 bucks(normal DTDC or BlueDart)....now thats not "prevailing market rate"

I wonder what the seller in that link is doing by selling that camera at dead cheap, but know wat....back wen i was buying my K750i, the prices at all genuine shops like "The Mobile-shop", "Hot Spot" and all was 9700/- but then at the local shops near my house it was 8500/-, it was lucrative but i dint buy it...

standing up for your own price is normal and understandable, but youre asking for too much.

the w-120 and w series has been discontinued so expect to see it at ever nook and corner website at dirt cheap prices, starting with ebay.

Also reffer to the link i mentioned in pm regarding the sales of cheap sony brand new cameras.

price ur item aggressively so that u dont missout on prospective customers or go at a loss by holding on to your item. Cause remember more u hold on, the bigger the loss :), thats personal experince

Its not too much....try going through my last post once again.....the website you have mentioned gives at USA price in dollars, in that way iphone comes for 10k-12k...try visiting any good shop (in india) and ask for the price....

And regarding the price on that website...Just forget about the memory card and pouch, they are definitely fake ones.....
So if u wish even i can give it for 5500/-, but without the Memory Cards...

And from where did you know that "W120 and W series is discontinued...

i would disagree,

yes that site is in dollars, but anyone can buy a w120 at less than half ur price there if he has a credit card (dont compare to iphone - u need to buy a connection package from Verizon or Cingular in USA thats why its costly, u dont need that for a camera lol )

Also about the fake cards, i think its too harsh to label something fake unless your 100% sure it is with bad reviews. i dont see any bad reviews on ebay regarding that.

W series has been discontinued i know because i went to the showroom and found out, go and ask urself. they are probably selling the old stock which anyone will do.

i dont mean to spoil ur sale mate just giving my non biased views.

Yeah, even i went to the Sony World and asked about it. And check the "official" Sony link, it doesnt mention anywhere that it is in "limited quantity" or "discontinued".
About the fake and real, real ones are definitely costly, if that eBay dealer is giving u a 2GB and the W120 for 6000-7000 then he is at loss. Fake memory cards wont give you problems, but its like even fake China mobiles dont give problems..Real fake-ness is known when you use something like PSP which, fake cards break down there easily...

And dont talk about international prices here
EVGA GTX 260 at ebay.com is $250 ie 12000 if i take 1$=48Rs.
save EVGA GTX 260 at lynx-india.com is Rs 21,877/- at lynx-india.com, okk minimum 18000/-, even thats more......
Please dont compare with international prices, and discuss only if you are interested in camera, previously i was selling it little lesser then the price I bought it....now I am selling it at lesser then price it is genuinely available
