Software installation problem

Dear saurav_cheeta

I installed SP2 and windows installer 3.1 latest version.
Then i did what ever u told on yesterday.

but same problem again its comming.

My exact problem is,

1. The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity, and try again.

(or)

2. Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a nework error, an error reading from the CD-Rom, or a problem with this package.

For this error I did the following things,
1. Installed windows XP SP2
2. Windows installer 3.1
3. went to msconfig and change the boot.ini and change the memory to 256.
4. Copy the software to hard disk and try to install.

Since 2 months i have tryed to install the softwares, but i am not able to install my new machine.

please help me.... :(

The 1335 error comes when the data is damaged... so may b when u copyed the DATA from ur CD to HDD it didnt went smoth... files were curropted....

Lol.... WinXP Sp2 has DX9.0c inside... so u dont have to install it again.... & this unpacking problem has nothing to do with the DirectX.....
