Tablets do not get enough love in thinkdigit community i think. One guy has a signature stating the most overrated gadget is a tablet.

I totally disagree. Since u are given a larger, much larger screen to work with (Mind you, since its diagonally larger, the screen area doubles/triples), everything is much more enjoyable. In games, u notice details more, u appreciate the environment more as opposed to a tiny screen on a phone(Even note2 is tiny compared to ipad mini). Also, browsing on phones is a joke. While browsing in mini, if i override font to 200%, it is a much more enjoyable experience and a tablet feels more like a mini laptop than an oversized phone. Also, reading ebooks seems more intuitive and natural than a phone where u have to keep zooming in and out.

I really love my mini and planning to buy an Ipad4 soon for illustrated pdfs( Even 8inch is not good enough for graphically illustrated pdfs).

Although i love phones, tablet has become a necessary gadget for me as well. In fact, i have ditched my laptop. Laptop is a useless device to me as i have a great desktop setup.

Instead of buying tables I would prefer laptop any day over tab$hit.

Yup ZR is also good, When I bought N4 at that time ZR was in rumors only, other wise I would have gone for ZR over N4.

iPad 4...... I think its better to buy a laptop with i3 + GPU @ 35k. Except touch (& SIM support), its better in everything........ much better for browsing & gaming(no real gamer would prefer tablet over laptop for gaming). Games(Windows) have much better graphics compared to those in iOS & Android

Bargain a lil more, all shops are offering it for 28.5k here but I have to buy 2 units for my friends so he gave me for 28k only.

OP, why don't you consider Lenovo K900?
If you don't care about custom roms this is the phone to go for.

Performance is unbeatable that puts Snapdragon 600 phones to shame, but some rare apps wont work 'coz of x86 architecture..

I enjoy gaming on my 22 inch Monitor. 15 inch Lappy screen is too small.

As for the laptop vs tablet comparison, reading / casual gaming is far more immersive than a laptop. In fact, i dont have need for a laptop anymore. I dont miss it at all.


I think its a moot point now - the debate itself is unfair as different people enjoy different things.

so N4 is final frm my side. becoz i have read that . ZR has big issue with its only 8 gb internal memory. it has arnd 4.5gb for user. so installing many game will be big issue. as u cannot transfer internal data 2 SD. any other opinion on that ?

Apart from that why are you not considering Note 2 if gaming is your priority.

Royal choice .... N4 rocks :-D & every buddy shocks........ :shock:
But If ZR was launched a little earlier I would have gone for it just for the IP55/58 & mem card slot.. Because my class 6 8 gig card is of no use now.
